Rent A Superbright, Ultraportable Projector From £50 Per Day Ex VATIf the last time you had to use projector for a business presentation it arrived in a box on wheels, needed two strong people to lift it and despite the 2 hours or so it took to set up the picture could only be seen with all lights off and blinds closed then today’s projection equipment will come as a pleasant surprise. Modern projectors are small, simple to use and very bright as well as surprisingly affordable. At The Big Picture we have over 20 years of experience in the presentations industry, having started back in the days when a business presentation meant a tray of 35mm slides and when getting a projector to show your computer was a black art and definitely not an exact science. Now, however, you can carry everything you need to give an impressive presentation with you, confident that the technical side of a presentation is no problem and allowing you to concentrate on the audience. We can offer short term hire of a range of equipment including plasma screens and PA systems as well as sales of new, used and graded stock. Click on a tab to find out more or you can call or email if you have a specific requirement you wish to discuss. We don’t believe that you can buy or hire presentation equipment from a catalogue without discussing your needs first.

| Sanyo XP200 projector | |
We are pleased to be able to offer for hire and sale the brightest Sanyo XGA projector model, the XP200. This is a big step forward in terms of colour reproduction thanks to the addition of a 4th LCD panel.
Sanyo says: "By managing the amount of yellow light used within the optical engine, the Colour Control Device extends the available colour space and accuracy of the projector by 20% as well as improving optical efficiency to deliver remarkable levels of brightness."
"The first model to be equipped with 4LCD technology is the PLC-XP200L. Outputting 7,000 ANSI lumens, the PLC-XP200L delivers noticeable improvement in colour reproduction over standard LCD projectors. In-organic panels facilitate a contrast ratio of 2200:1 and offer significant lifetime benefits over standard LCD, ensuring that the PLC-XP200L suited to a range of environments from board rooms and auditoriums, to digital signage or event installations."

| Cracking sound quality-no processing! | |
We are now the proud owners of some lovely EM Acoustics speakers, specifically the EMS-81 and EMS-61 as well as the 12" EMS 121 full range speakers available to hire. EM Acoustics take the view that it is possible to build speakers that do not require processors if the crossover is correctly designed, unlike some other manufacturers who require you to buy either a specific controller or amp to run their speakers. With outstanding sound quality, these speakers run very happily on straight out of the box QSC amps and have plenty of power for larger venues. You can find out more at www.emacoustics.co.uk

We are big fans of Sanyo Eneloop batteries, rechargeable cells which not only are ready to use straight from the packet but hold their charge for up to 1 year. Unlike regular rechargeables which discharge over a short period Eneloop may be used in the same way as disposables, charged in advance and ready to use when needed. We use Eneloop in all our Sennheiser radio mics and have saved literally hundreds of batteries from landfill in the last couple of years.
Capable of over 1000 charges and available in AAA, AA, C and D cells, Eneloop are ideal for a variety of uses such as radio microphones, remote controls, digital cameras and countless other applications.
With the enviroment at the top of everyone's agenda there really can be no excuse for continuing to add huge quantities of disposable batteries to landfill when there is now a viable alternative offering comparable performance and reliablity at reasonable cost.
Do the world a favour and give Eneloop a try. Call or email for more information.

| Kanoti's Bamboozled event in Jubilee Square Brighton | |
Brighton based agency Kanoti contacted us again recently as they wanted to project a series of animated short films in Jubilee Square, Brighton for the second year of their Bamboozled animation evening. As the event was at night and outdoors they needed a bright, portable projector to show the work of local filmakers using a building as a screen. After looking at a couple of projectors it was decided to use the Sanyo XP200 as, at 7000 lumens, it offered the best balance of brightness over size.

| The animations ran from an Apple Mac and were projected using a Sanyo XP200 | |
The event started at 9pm, just as the light was finally going and ran for an hour and due to the warm dry evening was very well attended. Kanoti were very pleased with the XP200. Not only with the brightness but also the quality of the image and the colour reproduction. You can find the Kanoti Bamboozled website here.
We were recently contacted by independent film director Brett Sinclair who had finally realised his dream of making his own feature film, "Is That It." Set in the North East and made on a shoestring Brett had managed to secure a 1 week run in an independant cinema to present his baby to the world but the venue didn't have any facilities for showing DVD, only 35mm film. We were pleased to help and arranged for the hire of a Sanyo XP100 with a long lens so that the film could be projected from the projection booth rather than halfway down the auditorium which is what Brett had thought he would have to be content with. After pre screening tests Brett was delighted with the image quality and size and we are only sorry we couldn't be in Redcar for the premiere.
